T.A.Z. (Temporary Autonomous Zone) is an original and cover project founded by Sam Keeble, singer/songwriter, looper, featuring Emily Meier on vocals and keys, Dane Farquhar on guitar, and Jordan Peter on drums. T.A.Z. is inspired by 70s, 80s, and 90s alternative rock, which comes out on their two full length albums and their many local cover shows in Detroit, MI.
T.A.Z. recently released their second LP: 'Ingrown' and are continuing to write, record, and perform music.
They've been compared to The Smiths, The Replacements, New Order, Radiohead, Big Star, and Neil Young.
