Hunter Dumped Us Here was born as a solo project out of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, officially beginning in 2013. Both literal and metaphorical stories are told through carefully-crafted lyrics delivered through singing, screaming, and spoken word, with a Indie/Post-Hardcore influenced musical backdrop, driven by piano.
HDUH was created to make a difference and leave a legacy behind of loving and accepting others, admitting defeats, and moving past the struggles in our daily lives. Whether we leave this earth as pile of bones left in the woods by a hunter, or as a gravestone, we leave a statement behind. Everything we do in our lives affects what that statement becomes.
After 2 EP's released as a solo project of Gabe Reasoner, HDUH became a full band and released two singles, Sea Burial / Blue Treasure. In summer of 2016 the band released their debut full-length album, I Understand. This is a 13 song, 55-minute concept album that tells stories of struggle and survival. This album is both thematically and musically dynamic and can be found on all major online music outlets.
